My inspiration is drawn from everyday rural living. I am inspired by bucolic images of old farmsteads, landscapes, and familiar farm creatures. I use vibrant colors in order for images to explode off the canvas in a celebration of color. Another inspiration for me comes from my fanatic fly fishing spouse. My series "Fish & Folk" are whimsical images of fish and folks, exaggerated and bigger than life. My husband also contributes his hand-tied Classic Salmon Flys, further linking the connection between man and fish.
